The relatives of teenagers missing after a devastating fire at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are confronting an agonising period of uncertainty for official news and appealing for any details about their loved ones online.

The inferno devastated the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified footage reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with sparklers are held aloft.

Authorities have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the fatalities of the disaster, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and hurt another scores more. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with the process ongoing to name the final individuals.

In the meantime, families and friends have been taking to social media to request information about their loved ones who were in attendance that fateful night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For

The location of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are currently unknown, according to an public plea from his family.
