The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Remains Committed.

Everywhere you go, fans keep sounding the death bells for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Platform-specific outlets have started writing about PlayStation for the first time. Last year proved to be a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. But if we're going solely off the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it is apparent that Microsoft still intends to attract subscribers with strong games on its premier subscription.

The Current Inclusions

A pair of titles that are immediately available as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Upcoming Headline Games

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that deviates from conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. Another big get is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of terror and combat."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year might get its hooks in you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Robust Selection of Games

In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that justify the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are very dependable. It offers a healthy blend of old games you might have missed and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they warranted upon launch — which makes them perfect candidates to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
